| Biography
Even though he looks much younger than his actual age, Rob Pinkston is your typical 12th grader. He loves playing video games, body boarding, playing guitar and most other things your average 18 year-old boy likes to do. What sets Rob apart from other kids his age is that he has a recurring role on the Nickelodeon TV Show, "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide", works with Ashton Kutcher on the MTV Show "Punk'd", and has 4 feature films to premiere: "The Derby Stallion", "The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang", "If I had Known I was a Genius..." and "Parental Guidance Suggested"!Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide chronicles the wacky adventures of Ned Bigby (Devon Werkheiser) who shares his tips and tricks on navigating junior high hurdles. This is Rob's first television role, and he says he likes the format. He plays Coconut Head, a nickname his character receives because of a haircut gone terribly wrong. Rob is in his third season on Ned's!Rob also starred in MTV's "Punk'd" with Ashton Kutcher. He appears in 5 episodes where he takes part in some pretty devilish pranks on some well-known celebrities, including: tennis star Serena Williams, Zac Braff (star of "Scrubs"), singer Jos Stone, basketball star Dirk Nowitzski, and pop star Jojo!This past spring Rob co-stars in the movie "The Derby Stallion" with Zac Efron, ("Summerland"), and Crystal Hunt, ("The Guiding Light"). Shot on location in North Georgia, this is a family film about a boy and his desire to be an equestrian champion.This past summer, Rob was on location in Portland, Oregon filming "The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang" with Jeremy Sumpter, ("Peter Pan"), Justin Long, ("Herbie: Fully Loaded"), and Carl Weathers, ("Rocky"). This is the next project from the Producers of the hit film "Napoleon Dynamite". The film premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah and won the festival Audience Award!Early 2006, Rob had the opportunity to work with Whoopie Goldberg on the feature film, "If I had known I was a Genius", which also stars Marcus Redmond, Sharon Stone, and Tara Reid.Currently, Rob is shooting the feature film, "Parental Guidance Suggested", produced by David Zucker ("Scary Movie" fame), with Frankie Muniz ("Malcolm in the Middle"), Vanessa Lengies ("American Dreams") and Ryan Pinkston ("Quintuplets")!! Rob is thrilled to be able to work opposite Ryan on this project!Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Rob has called Stevenson Ranch, California home for the past nine years. He started acting in the 8th grade while he was attending Placerita Middle School and he hasn't stopped since. Some of his other credits include "Undercover Kids", "The Honor System" and "The Metro Chase" with Jon Cryer and Tara Lipinski.A well-trained professional, Rob studies with Dennis LaValle, LaValle Actor's Workshop, Jeremiah Comey, Jeremiah Comey's Acting Studio, and privately with Michelle Juskowitz and Lauren Cohn. Rob is represented by Brandy Gold at Talent Works in Burbank and Armand Rabinowitz at Alchemy Entertainment in West Hollywood.
