Biography
Beach stud movie and TV actor Aron Kincaid started life out as Norman Neale Williams III on June 15, 1940 in Hollywood, California. While still a toddler, his father, serving with the Army Air Force, died after his plane was shot down during World War II. Aron's early interest revolved around oil painting and, at the age of 12, he won his first important national art award. As the young lad grew into a handsomely tall and tanned teenager, however, he found his riveting looks could possibly be his fortune and started to lean towards acting.By this time Aron had moved with his family to Oakland, California, where the ambitious highschooler produced, directed and starred in his first amateur film, an hour-long 8mm color/sound production entitled "The Fall of Nineveh" (1957) that included a cast of around 500. Majoring in cinematography at UCLA, he graduated in 1960. His professional acting debut came humbly with an unbilled part in the cult horror flick The Wasp Woman (1960) as a beekeeper, and he received no credit again when he next played Laurence Olivier's standard-bearer in a scene from Spartacus (1960). Universal Studios, however, expressed an interest in Aron after a talent scout spotted him in a local stage production of "The Loud Red Patrick" in 1960. Signing him up, he snagged a co-starring role in the last season of the comedy series "Bachelor Father" (1957) starring John Forsythe, as a young lawyer and love interest to blossoming teenage daughter Noreen Corcoran.Following this break, his career was put on hold after joining the Coast Guard Reserves in 1963. He returned to Hollywood a couple years later and resumed where he left off. By that time the beach party flicks were all the rage and Aron fell easily in with the surfing crowd. Despite his leading man good looks, the now bleached-blond Aron was playing supporting roles in a number of predictable sun 'n' fun romps including The Girls on the Beach (1965), which co-starred former TV girlfriend Noreen Corcoran and featured musical guests The Beach Boys; Beach Ball (1965) which top-lined Edd Byrnes and Chris Noel while providing The Supremes and The Righteous Brothers with singing showcases; Ski Party (1965) starring "beach party king" himself Frankie Avalon and featured vocalist Lesley Gore in the spotlight; and The Ghost in the Invisible Bikini (1966), the seventh and last installment of the by-now waning "Beach Party" series. With the end of the surfing 60s, Aron found roles extremely hard to come by other than a few isolated guest parts on such shows as "Get Smart," "The F.B.I." and "The Beverly Hillbillies." In 1972 he decided to relocate to San Francisco where he made steady money for nearly two decades in the fashion model industry. Intermittent on-camera work occasionally came in for the actor with rugged roles on TV and film, including opposite Chuck Connors in The Proud and the Damned (1972) and featured roles in the TV-movies Planet Earth (1974) (TV) and Brave New World (1980) (TV). In the 1980s he utilized his vocal talents for scores of animated projects, including "The Smurfs" and "Batman" series, as well as commercials. In the years to follow, the dropped out of the limelight and devoted his life completely to art. As he has for quite some time, he resides at his Benedict Canyon home where he specializes in Hollywood caricatures and California landscapes.
