Biography

Adam Copeland wrestles as Edge, an enigma and one of Canada's youngest new superstars. He was born in Orangeville, Ontario but trained in nearby Toronto.

  • Edge held the Intercontinental Title for a one day period. He won it at SkyDome on July 24, 1999 from Jeff Jarrett but lost it the next night in Buffalo. Recently got engaged to the sister of another Canadian Wrestler, Val Venis.
  • Was WWF Tag Team Champion.
  • Former member of the Brood and the Ministry of Darkness.
  • Edge and Christian won the WWF Tag Team titles at Wrestlemania X-7 for the seventh time, a WWF record. [April 2001]
  • 2001 WWF King of the Ring
  • Wife Alannah is the sister of fellow WWF wrestler (and fellow Canadian) Sean Morley, better known as Val Venis.
  • First unified WWF Intercontinental and WCW United States Champion
  • As a sixteen year old, attended WrestleMania VI at the Toronto SkyDome, to watch Hulk Hogan battle the Ultimate Warrior. Twelve years later, he returned to the SkyDome to participate in WrestleMania X8. Ironically, Hulk Hogan was also on the card.
  • Was one half of the second ever WWE Tag Team Champions with Rey Mysterio
  • Was at Wrestlemania 6.
